The March For Science began nationwide in 2017. It celebrates the role of science in our everyday lives. It seeks to strengthen the bond between scientists and their communities.
The march is non-partisan, because science is non-partisan. At its core, science is a tool for seeking answers. Answers that exist outside the realm of politics, grounded in the truth. The March for Science supports education, communication, and ties of mutual respect between scientists and their communities
This year marks the third March for Science in Atlanta. The March touches on several things that are great about Atlanta. Beginning in Historic Fourth Ward Park , following the Atlanta Beltline, and ending in Piedmont Park at the Atlanta Science Festival Expo.
